7 Cities Gourmet Popcorn

"If I make up my bed, mommy, can I have some popcorn?"  said the long eye-lashed 5 year-old son of mine.
For starters, it was approximately 12:15 in the afternoon when the door bell rang and my eldest son returned from the door with a package.  I thought to myself..."who ordered something?"  I read the return address    label indicating that this package was shipped from none other than my hometown of Surprising Suffolk, VA & exclaimed in glee ---"Oh, it's here! The popcorn I ordered". ( I hear a distinguishable juvenile whine  moaning  from  another room) "John-Joseph, what are you whining about?"(I have already told him not to touch my bag twice)  "Because it takes too long" says the child. " Hmmm, come here, come get it"(as I am munching away at the Norfolk Cheddar Excursion).  I started off with one kernel... 3 kernels... and finally fast & furious fists full of popcorn being munched & crunched upon and  I just couldn't stop eating it.   Now I love Italian(as many of you know from my post on Olive Garden;) but this has taken it to another level.  Would the popcorn gods grace me with the secrets of just how u get sooo much cheddarry flava mixed with italian herbs galore on not one but on every kernel????  I'll scan a pic of the bag before I finish it up now... Since I'm not willing to share mine, you can find  this and more  gourmet flavors like Portsmouth Caramel Delight and Chesapeake Crunch @http://7citiespopcorn.webs.com/. Singer, MUSTAFA,  bare his soul in the song "As Soon As I Stopped Worrying, and let God have His Way..." A 4X heart attack survivor-MUSTAFA's neo-soul/gospel style reminded the audience of just how BLESSED We Are.

Bunny Debarge's "A Dream" seemed to flow effortlessly as The JazzMan worked his magic on soprano, alto & tenor sax. Accompanied by the cool soundz of  electric guitar by BRO, all at once a spontaneous smile formed on BIG MAN's face as he directed  the smooth current through his fingertips on the  electric keyboard ---Ohhhh Yeah!  They were in the groove, in the zone...in the HOUZZZ. Just when I thought it was over, they served up dessert by tempting our musical taste buds with their rendition of CAMEO's "CANDY". It was UMM, UMM GOOD.

Come to think of it, I was like a kid in a candy store...with money!!!  I was very fortunate to actually see a Facebook friend,  Alicia' Lavi  Engram(marketing director at MME) in person, learn about local photographer
Kenneth Carroll(kseezphotography.com) & his artistic perspective as only he can bring it to us, and last but not least...meeting  the quintessential Mr. Andrew Jackson Brown(brother of The JazzMan, Travis Brown) Mr. Andrew Jackson Brown was dressed 2-the-9's ladiezzz; complete with a coordinating African Walking Cane from THE MOTHERLAND via a friend in England. Canequest.com reports that "when Howard Carter in 1923 opened the tomb of young king TUTENKHAMEN, the archaeologist discovered over 130 walking sticks, many beautiful, some made of gold, and  some elaborately carved - dating back to the year 1358 b.c., more than 3300 years ago.   At one time, Mr. Andrew Jackson Brown had collected and owned 25 different, yet fashionably coordinating African Walking  canes.  One to match each suit.

All this & more in 1 night in the Business District of Historic Downtown Brunswick---come on out yall & let's REPRESENT!
